Out of Order

It seems that Plaid Cymru has now also fallen foul of Carmarthenshire's Putinesque constitution. A motion calling on council leader Kevin Madge to withdraw the claims he made about the Sainsbury's planning applications in Llandeilo and Cross Hands has been ruled inadmissible because it was not correctly dated.

Unless there is a last minute surprise, the council will not now get an opportunity to discuss the issue until November, assuming that nothing else can be found in the constitution to prevent it.

Was it supposed to be dated using the Gregorian calendar?

Anybody want to join the Carmarthenshire County Council Villains Monopoly game? It's characters are similar to those in the "My Disney Villain Monopoly game" only a lot less cute. Anyway, the object of the game is to become the wealthiest player to dominate the market by buying, selling or leasing land and property. The game is about to begin with the Chief Exec (Banker) and Kev who by some fluke picked up the chance card electing him as Leader of the board. Unfortunately, due to a technicality both the Chief and Kev hold all the get out of jail free cards. Nevermind, all is not lost as there are still some good cards left in the Community Chest.

There's been a lot written recently by Dr. David Owen on the 'Hubris Syndrome', connecting it to the one and only Tony Blair. It might be pertinent for our councillors to take a look around them to note who this might also be ascribed to. Any suggestions?

So what was this date crime that Plaid did? Are you able to supply more info? How petty and obstructive is Mark James being?
