Er bod pob un o'r cynghorwyr heblaw am Anthony 'Whitey' Davies (Annibynnol) a Theressa Bowen (etholwyd dan faner Llafur cyn ffoi o dan amgylchiadau rhyfedd i'r Annibendods) wedi pleidleisio ym mis Ebrill o blaid argymhellion i Gymreigio'r Cyngor Sir a gweinyddu'n fewnol trwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg, yn y Times y cyhoeddwyd hysbyseb uniaith Saesneg.
Yn ôl y Times, bydd croeso mawr i fenywod ac ymgeiswyr o leiafrifoedd ethnig, ond does dim sôn am y Gymraeg, er bod yr hysbyseb ar wefan y Cyngor yn dweud bod sgiliau cyfathrebu yn Gymraeg yn "hanfodol" ar lefel 2, h.y. medru cyfarch pobl yn Gymraeg ("bore da") ac ynganu enwau a thermau perthnasol ("iechyd da").
Ond peidiwch â phoeni da chwi os na allwch ddweud "bore da" - fe gewch chi hyfforddiant ar ôl cael eich penodi.
Ie, mae Mr James wedi dychwelyd, a busnes fel arfer yw hi.

In times of austerity it would be wise to cap senior executive pay. In a country where large scale council mergers are about to be announced and so candidates likely to be plentiful, it is ridiculous that we in Carmarthenshire are still offering huge wages. Our own staff face placement in new "arms length" satellite council companies where new recruits get less than the standard pay and conditions.
If there really are 30% cuts coming, the new directors will be managing less and less staff and services, so starting so high is ridiculous. Perhaps we should have our own "arms length " arrangements for our managers too?
I wonder which elected members, if any agreed this pay scale? No excuses that we still need to pay more to our directors more than other Welsh councils I hope?
Could you advise how many of the senior management (director or assistant directors) in social services and housing do speak Welsh well enough to converse with the public? Is this known? I know that one Welsh speaker is leaving soon. I'd suggest that one Welsh speaking director or assistant director should be sufficient for an English speaking County like Carmarthenshire. But I'm sure that there are many more?
