As you say, the track record of past James-led council projects would not inspire confidence of a successful outcome for the wellness village.<br /><br />Mr James has always been at pains to distance himself from the Princess Royal Sports Arena fiasco (http://www.bostonstandard.co.uk/news/prsa-errors-will-not-be-repeated-1-1106951) saying it all took place after he left Boston (in order to instigate a similar cock-up in the form Parc y Scarlets) but the “dapper and dynamic Welshman” seems pretty enthusiastic about it all in this Guardian article from May 2000 - https://www.theguardian.com/society/2000/may/24/guardiansocietysupplement6<br /><br />The absence of any financial input from the private sector speaks volumes; you’d think they’d be queuing up to pump money into such a sure-fire successful enterprise.
