Salaries and perks for these employees can be, and usually are, massive. Now these advantaged emploees may well be worth it in temrs of how they run the charities, and get the money flowing in, and achieve their "charitble objectives". But it stings to see the less wealthy rummaging around in their pockets for change for the tin-rattlers, or significant bequests from the deceased, to fund these charities when the extravagences for the staff are not known.
